Perhaps there's no such thing as a second chance. Situations cannot be replicated completely. The second shot is... well, a chance on its own, a whole new episode leading to a string of fresh events.

The same goes for people. People change. Sometimes we find ourselves getting into a familiar situation with someone, a déjà vu, but no, it is not the same anymore. Deep down we know it.
