My Battle

"You are still having problems with classroom management?" Someone asked me in disbelief. Exasperation detected too.

I must fight my own battle. Things reached the current undesirable state because I am too lax at disciplining and maintaining classroom routines. My fault. I cannot expect someone to help me break the students' poor habits nor can I expect students to change on their own. I must set things right myself.

The main problem lies with me. The change has to start with me.

From now on, whatever I teach and get the students to do, it is to prepare them for the challenges of examination, work and life. Won't let them push me, I should be the one doing the pushing.
