I was just describing to my aunt the tempers of people in my home. Here are the analogies.
Lightning
Fast, sharp, usually target-specific, deadly.
Explosion
Loud, sudden, destructive, massive damages.
Timebomb
Always there, easily triggered, reason is no reason.
Like a queen.
Can be either very good (awww...) or vvvverrry bad (bites off heads!).
